Privacy Policy

Effective date: 21 August 2026 · Last updated: 21 August 2026

Plain-language summary: MrJindal Chat Responder reads customer-service chat message text only on the declared Amazon.in support-chat page so it can match your saved keywords, send your chosen reply, and save unmatched messages for you. It uses a hashed laptop signature to keep one client's keys on the approved laptop. It does not collect Amazon passwords, payment details, cookies, public IP addresses, proxy settings, location, or browsing history.

1. Scope and single purpose

This policy applies to the MrJindal Chat Responder Chrome extension (the “Extension”) and its mrjindal.com synchronization service. The Extension’s single purpose is to provide user-configured keyword replies for Amazon.in customer-service chat, together with licensed cross-profile synchronization, offline caching, and an unanswered-message list.

2. Data the Extension handles

Activation and account data

  • The Profile Access ID entered by the user.
  • A randomly generated installation identifier, a hashed laptop signature, Chrome extension ID, profile label, client/device identifier, access status, and security token.
  • Version and last successful synchronization timestamps needed for licensing, security, and troubleshooting.

Reply library

  • Keywords and automatic reply text created or imported by an authorized user.
  • Revision and sync metadata used to keep the same client’s approved Chrome profiles consistent.

Support-chat message text

  • Visible message text on https://www.amazon.in/message-us* is processed to find a saved keyword.
  • If no keyword matches, the message text, occurrence count, and timestamps may be stored in the client’s unanswered list.

Local offline data

  • The last successful reply library, unanswered list, activation status, and a limited pending-sync queue are stored in Chrome local storage.
  • This cache allows the user-facing responder feature to continue temporarily when the server is unreachable.

3. Data we do not collect

The Extension does not collect Amazon account passwords, one-time codes, cookies, payment or bank information, financial data, health information, precise location, public IP addresses, general browsing history, search history, advertising identifiers, or proxy credentials/settings. It does not read pages outside the declared Amazon.in support-chat page.

4. How data is used

Data is used only to activate and secure a licensed profile, match a user-created keyword, insert the corresponding user-created reply, synchronize the assigned client’s reply library across approved profiles, show unmatched messages to authorized users, maintain the offline queue, prevent duplicate capture, and provide support or security troubleshooting.

If an administrator enables the optional Smart Rewrite switch, the selected saved reply is reformatted by the built-in mrjindal.com rewrite rules. No saved reply or live Amazon chat message is sent to OpenAI or another external AI provider.

5. Storage, transmission, and security

Network data is transmitted over HTTPS to mrjindal.com. Server records are isolated by client and authenticated device token. Local data is stored using chrome.storage.local. Access keys and device tokens are used only for authentication and are not sold or used for advertising. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Sharing, advertising, and human access

Data is not sold, rented, or transferred for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers only as necessary to host and secure the service, or disclosed when required by law or to investigate abuse. Authorized client users and the account administrator can view and manage that client’s saved replies and unanswered list as part of the requested service. Unrelated human review is not permitted.

7. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The Extension’s use of information received from Chrome APIs and website content complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is limited to providing or improving the Extension’s prominent user-facing single purpose.

8. Retention and deletion

Server data is retained while the related client/license remains active or as needed for security and service operation. An authorized administrator can delete individual replies, clear unanswered messages, revoke a profile, or permanently delete the client from the Control Panel. Permanent client deletion removes that client’s reply and unanswered-message data. Uninstalling the Extension or clearing its storage removes the local cache from that Chrome profile.

9. User choices

Activation requires an affirmative data-use acknowledgement. Users can choose not to activate, stop using the Extension, remove it from Chrome, revoke the profile key through the administrator, export their reply library, or request deletion through their licensed account administrator.

10. Children

The Extension is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

11. Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where required, disclosed in the Extension before new data practices begin. For questions or deletion requests, use the official support page and the licensed Client Portal.
